Jennifer Maravillas is collecting a piece of trash from every block in Brooklyn for a project she's called "71 Square Miles," named for the size of New York's most populous borough. "I'm interested in trash because it shows so much about people's lives," she told Animal New York, who tagged along as she searched the streets for compelling litter.
